*** Important update ***

The below planned closure of the M42 has been postponed, so the motorway will now be OPEN in both directions.

the M42 will be shut in BOTH directions between J6 & J5.
The diversion route will take you along the A45 past the airport and around the outskirts of Solihull joining the A41 back towards the M42.

Alternatively, it may be best to take the A446 past Coleshill, joining the A452 taking you through Balsall Common and then taking the A4177 to Honiley. At the next island taking the 2nd exit on to Five Ways Road SP to Rowington, Shrewly & Claverdon.
