well done Lads your doing Burton proud. Keep it going.

Shipston on Stour 40-40 Burton

Burton started slowly and soon found themselves 2 tries down. But once they started there support play was again top draw stuff. After some good defensive work fom William Ben Blackham, Ben Mumford picked the loose ball up and raced clear to score. Burtons defence was a bit leaky, though, and this allowed Shipston to bag another 2 tries. Chasing the game, Burton started to throw the ball around and open up the opposition, another 2 tries from Mumford and one for Cameron Callow coming from this. Hector Abel then scorched up the wing to score. A good run by Edgar Brown saw him tagged just short of the line, but luckily Mumford was on his shoulder to score, another try by Cameron Callow saw Burton pull back to 1 score behind and the final play saw Ben Blackham throw a long looping pass to Hector Abel, who scored.
Scorers Ben Mumford(4), Cameron Callow(2), Hector Abel(2).

Shipston on Stour 45-45 Burton

Burton came out for the second match and quickely dominated their opponents, taking a 4-1 lead, with tries from Santi Kennelford, Hector Abel, Marcus Tolley and Thomas Harrison. There running and passing was beautiful to watch, but then they seemed to get over confident and mistakes were made. Another try by Mumford saw the score 25 each at half time. The second half saw Burtons defence tighten up, and they opened the scoring with a move that was touched by every Burton player before Santi scored. Blackham then went on a run and got tagged just short of the line, but good support play by Mumford and Tolley saw Burton score. Another Mumford try followed by a Tolley try saw the match finish equal.
Scorers Santi Kenneford(2), Hector Abel, Marcus Tolley(3), Thomas Harrison and Ben Mumford(2)

Shipston on Stour 25-35 Burton

Burton started their final match at a fast pace, and from the outset they showed they wanted to pass the ball around and play proper tourist rugby. The support play was superb, and the ability to pass the ball before they got in trouble was better. The tries scored in the final game should go down as team tries. The Burton defence was equall to the attack, and theyheld tight until close to the end they looked tired, probably from the matches earlier, or maybe late night tour antics!
Scorers Hector Abel, Marcus Tolley, Ben Mumford(2), Thomas Harrison
