The first try arrived from a stunning solo effort from Dominic snake hips Philips passing 4 players to score his first try of the day. Burton piled on the pressure and laid siege to the Market Harborough try line. Pressure finally paid off for Josh Hart to grab his first of 3.
The third try was a lovely manoeuvre which started from Will Hulbert running down the wing and taking the ball into a ruck, the ball was popped out to Josh Hart who ran from one wing to the next to score his second of the match. This game like the 3 previous saw Burton conceding several penalties but despite this we continued to push forward in our thirsty quested for more trys. Sam Willetts scored his first after receiving a clever ball from a penalty. Josh Hart scored his third and final immediately from the re-start bringing the game to its conclusion at 5 - 0. Some awesome tackling from Oliver Corbett prevented Market Harborough getting onto the score sheet and we were all left consulting again the rules of the tournament to clarify of we had won or not. The depth of the squad's strength showed with the ability to swap players without disruption of play with Cameron Scobie be interchanged effectively with Jacob Abraham.
This was a great day for the 18 players representing the Burton under 11’s and it was a performance that improved over the 4 games. After 4 years Burton had finally managed to bring home the much coveted Rugby Lions Trophy.
