Burton Bees travelled up to Telford to play Telford Hornets 2nd team . The day didn't start too great for the Burton boys with 2 players pulling out early morning . So when we arrived we only had 1 prop which was Adam king . So after speaking to the Telford skipper . He borrowed us a player which had only been at the club for one week . His name was also Adam who played loose head . The two Adams gave us a solid platform to work from .

The game started with Telford scoring the first try after around 15 minutes . With the kicker missing the conversion . But this seemed to be kick up the bum we needed . So almost instantly Jo counter chased the down a ball to beat the Telford defence and pounce on the ball to score a great try . Gareth Sutton kicking the conversion to make the score 5-7 to Burton . Up until half time it was a hard fought contest with players putting there body's on line . This resulting in our skipper Gareth Sutton injuring his back . Who had really done a fantastic job for the team . Burton were now down to 14 players with no subs

The captaincy was given to the BIG Will Forester who scored a great try running from 5 meters from the try line . To smash past Telford's prop and send him flying as if he weighed nothing . Conversion was narrowly missed .

Score 5-12

Then Telford's skipper was given a yellow after he couldn't control his anger . Which brought the numbers to 14-14 .

Joe counter then took one for the team and had 10 minutes himself after being mistaken for another player .Burton were now down to 13 against a 15 man strong Telford .

Jo then come back on and scored his 2nd try with some strong work from the Burton forwards . To dive on a maul from the half line with joe stretching the last few inches to score .

Telford never gave up and put us under some pressure in the last 10minutes . But Burton stayed strong with some great tackles going in leaving the Telford players falling like flys .
