The 2025/6 season has been another fantastic one for the U11 - full of great rugby and amazing memories. We have a large squad, with a regular 20 attending weekly and a squad of over 25. We have welcomed new players and retained all of our players for the season, except for the girls who played with us last season, who have moved over to the girls' U12 section.

We were also very grateful this year to accept new windbreakers for the kids, bibs and coaches' tops through sponsorship from the Toyota UK Charitable Trust. Thank you for your ongoing support.

We have welcomed teams to Battlestead Croft and also travelled to local clubs for our away days. We performed well at the Staffordshire Festival and enjoyed the Blast Festival at BRFC. The outstanding performances we delivered at both festivals, alongside the smiling faces of players and coaches, were a fitting end to the season.

The season also included the mini tour, with 10 players travelling to Mount Cook, and a social to Laser Tag in Derby on a wintry morning, with pitches being unplayable.

All 5 coaches have remained with us for the season, and we have been happy to welcome our new first aider, Nick Green.

We now look forward to moving up to the U12, where we will continue to learn new skills, welcome new players, further develop our parent and player community, and plan our own mini-tour with the fundraising that comes with it.

Our player numbers are a testament to the strong bond within the team, and we hope to remain a strong, large squad.
