The 25/26 Season has been a great success for our under-7s.
27 Registered players over the course of the year meant we had around 25 players each week for games and training sessions, developing key skills and the TREDS values, and having fun through Rugby.
During the Season, looking smart in our shirts kindly sponsored by Kia at Burton, which brought our bond together, we acted as mascots for the first team, welcomed different rugby clubs for successful games as well as return visits, and we took 5 players to experience their first tour, meaning we could have one team represent Burton in tour shirts for tournaments. We have also been able to have an all-girls team, as encouraged by the Club and the RFU.
By the last quarter of the season, our players have all shown fantastic sportsmanship alongside respect, even when times have been tough.
The smiles we have seen grow over the season have been a pleasure to watch, getting bigger and wider game by game.
Seeing these young players grow in confidence and consistently embody the values the game holds dear has made the coaches proud to have been part of this team. We look forward to building on this season's success.

We now look forward to moving up to U8 (school year 3), where we will continue to learn new skills, welcome new players, and develop our parent and player community.
