This was the final group game, away against East Midlands.

We were very well represented again with Dylan Shrehorn, Dom Phillips, Lewis Sturgess, James Davies, Macauley Green & Josh Humphreys from Burton.

Staffordshire went into the game needing 5 points to all but guarantee passage to the knockout semi-final.

It was a game that was played very openly at times. The weather and heat dictated that to a certain degree as well, but ultimately, Staffs managed to see the game through and run out 36-19 winners.

This means we move on to the semi-final this weekend away vs a strong Northumberland team, who finished top of the Northern conference. The winner of that will play the winner of North Mids vs Devon in the final at Twickenham on the weekend of 6th/7th June - go well again, boys!
