Originally from Welshpool, a very proud Welsh man who came to Burton around 1960 through his work with Woolworth and was involved with the club for many years. He passed away on Sunday 28th March in Bury St.Edmunds, aged 94.

As well as sitting on General Committee, John was the designer of tour ties for Burton over many years and I'm sure his ties are still worn by many to this day.

He loved being a part of the club and made many long lasting friendships, sadly many of who are no longer with his.
