Branston Road, Branston

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Branston Road in Branston are satisfied that it is necessary to close the length of Branston Road from Sweeney Drive to Tatenhill Lane for a period of 5 days but no more than 5 days from 23rd August 2021 because of the likelihood of danger to the public during installation of Culvert being undertaken by Staffordshire County Council.

Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for vehicles requiring access to premises on the length of road which is closed. Access for emergency services vehicles will be available via the alternative route. An alternative route for traffic is available via Branston Road, Moores Hill, Tatenhill Common, Tatenhill Lane, Church Road, Needwood Road, Burton Road, Henhurst Hill, Forest Road, Shobnall Road, Wellington Road, Parkway, A5121 Branston Roundabout at A38 Junction, Lichfield Road and vice versa. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 08:00hrs on 23rd August 2021 AND 17:00hrs on 26th August 2021.
