Welcome to the players, officials and supporters from Kenilworth. Last season Burton snook a 16 10 win on the road and then triumphed 38 20 on Peel Croft.
The game at Hereford ended with the home side snatching victory with a late penalty. Hopefully with an extra week of brooding over the defeat the Burton players will be raring to go today.
In the Jack Baker Lounge this afternoon we welcome an age group having a reunion. Starting out as U7s in 98-99 and running through to U17s in 08-09 they had a wonderful journey and some fine players were produced, both male and female. Many people are still involved in the club. At the helm were Messrs Tattersall, Wrathall, Stockbridge, Manning and Heptonstall. - proof that 5 control freaks could actually work together! A bunch of highly sociable parents made for a happy camp. Ardent tourists; commencing in Blackpool, before leading the way away from there for the Minis Tour for the very first time, to Southport. International exploits took in Aberdare, Paris and Toronto. Have a great afternoon and evening folks- sorry to be missing it!
On Monday evening I went to a Burton Young Rugby Ambassadors Meeting for the first time - what a great experience it was and nothing like I'd seen before in literally hundreds of meetings about Rugby! These young ladies and gentlemen are enthusiastic, intelligent, polite and a credit to their families, schools and their mentors at BRFC. We are the envy of at least the County over what has been set up and quite rightly so. The BYRAs are getting some great experiences through their involvement and promoting Rugby in Burton, so it's a win win. More people are welcome to join. A big thank you to everyone involved.

Apologies for not having mentioned the AXV victory at Hereford, the Bees win over Spartans and the Colts win in R2 of the National Cup - a great set of results!
