In the first five years at Battlestead Croft, we have seen unbelievable growth both commercially and in participation in the sport. These two aspects will need to continue to go hand-in-hand as the former is essential to support the latter.
As an amateur club with CASC charity status, all profits from commercial activity are returned into the Club for continued development of our assets and the benefit of all our players from Little Ruggers and Mini Juniors through to our Senior teams.
To this end, you may be aware that we have employed Ross Campion as Business Development and Operations Manager; Ross having extensive hospitality experience, which will further grow the turnover and profitability of the club.
It has also been agreed that following three years of dedicated service, Claire Bradley is stepping down from her role as Administration Manager with immediate effect.
Claire is keen to remain an active member of the club as both a Patron and a volunteer, which I am sure you will all support.
We are hugely grateful for the work Claire has done as part of the Operations Team, and I am sure you will join me in thanking Claire for this contribution and supporting her as a continuing Club member and volunteer.
