Known for his powerful prop-forward style, Gibbons career, spanning multiple clubs and levels, reflects a journey marked by resilience and adaptability.

James played for Gloucester, London Scottish, Ealing Trailfinders and Coventry, with notable stints at each club. James returned to Hartpury RFC.

He also represented England at the student level, adding to his rugby achievements.

James has contacted us and said "I am thankful to Burton RFC for giving me the opportunity to play grass roots rugby and teaching me the morals of rugby which gave me the platform to go on and have a successful career, and I will be around in the future to watch a game."
