The event is aimed at those who aren't currently playing Rugby - for example people who fancy an introduction to the game or those who may have hung their boots up and fancy a trundle.

Squad size is 8 players, with 6 on the field at a time. Players must be 17 years of age or over and both sexes are more than welcome to join in.

The format of the evening will depend on the number of teams entering. A Shield will be presented to the winning team. The Shield was kindly donated by FIRESTOPIT Limited for the inaugural event last year and reigning champions 'The CTS' will be there to defend their title.

Entry is free - so why not join up with friends or colleagues and enter a team - or as an individual get in touch and be put into a 'Barbarians' squad.

First kick-off will be at 7 p.m.

A pitch-side BBQ will have food on sale for players and spectators. Soft drinks for children will be available, as will a range of beverages for the adults.

Come along and join in the fun by playing or watching.
