Burton RFC were delighted to play hosts to the British College Sports inaugural finals event. With sporting finals taking place all over the area ranging from St George's Park to Meadowside, Burton RFC had the honour of holding the Rugby Finals.

Mens and Ladies teams came from all over the country to take part with the event culminating in the Elite Mens rugby final. This saw two highly competitive teams from Wales fighting it out for the honours.

Eventual winners Coleg Sir Gawr, from South Wales beat the Coleg Llandillo side 56 points to 26.

Chairman Nominee, Kevin Wrathall, presented the winners with their trophy.

Earlier in the day, West Sussex College had a resounding victory over Birmingham Metropolitan College in the plate final.
