Be part of this historic day as the Olympic Torch travels through our Town. It might be at silly o’clock in the morning, but it’s unlikely you’ll see this in your lifetime again.

Approximate Timings for the Event

7.45am – 8.00am - Olympic Torch passes Burton Rugby Club outside ASDA
9.00am – 9.40am - The return of LITTLE RUGGERS for one week only for 2 – 5 year olds – fun and games, activities and lots of running for youngsters. Adults are asked to work with their children to support them in the activities, particularly the younger ones! This is offered FREE OF CHARGE and new youngsters are more than welcome to attend.
9.45am – 11.30am - Fun family rugby based activities for all ages including cross bar challenge, obstacle run, kicking competition and much more. Prizes will be given to the winners

The Rugby Club bar will be open along with a BBQ breakfast being served and available to purchase, a chance for members and guests to celebrate the OLYMPICS COMING TO TOWN.
