After setting a new record for the furthest 1.5 tonne scrum push in 8 hours (37miles!) we are looking for a second listing in the Guinness World Records.

On Saturday 9th July Burton RFC will be attempting to set a new
Guinness World Record for the Largest Game of Frisbee played.

With over 200 players expected we are hoping to SMASH the current record held by Nottingham Moderns RFC.

DETAILS / FORMAT;

Saturday 9th July 12.00 – 18.00

Peel Croft, Burton RFC, Lichfield Street

Invited; anyone 9 years and over (or going into year 5) and can throw a Frisbee!

Every player will be invited to attend a 2 hour slot in which they will be asked to play for approximately 20-30 minutes.

All players are then invited to attend the celebrations at 18.00 – till late…

Alongside the record attempt; BBQ, BOUNCY CASTLE, CROSS BAR CHALLENGE and the BAR will be open!

For players under 16, please could parents register on behalf of the player.

You don’t have to be an athlete or a member of Burton RFC to take part -the more we get registered the stronger the record will be.

HELP the recruitment – Spread the word, get friends and family to take part. Posters available behind BRFC Bar after 3rd June.

Entrance Fee; £3.00 will be collected on the day and this fee will include a Guinness World Record certificate after verification has been made.

All funds raised on the day will go to help Burton RFC Mini, Junior and Colts sections for the coming season.
