U9's continue to develop

Yet again Burton u9's proved what a fantastic group of young players they are with a great performance against Trentham in Sunday. Despite Trentham arriving with only 6 players and Burton having 19 resulting in teams switching every half and lots of waiting around everyone put their heart and soul into the game. Fantastic direct running lead to lots of tries and great tackling showed how much the team have progressed over the last few weeks.
Birthday boy Will put his head down a powered through players a plenty, Tyler showed the pros how tackling should be done and James and Alex once again provided speed within the team. Harvey, Alfie S, Sam, and Joe all worked hard, never giving up chasing back and forth and as always there were solid performances from Harry, Thomas, Alfie, Lewis, Sam, Gabriel, Will, Joseph, Ruben, George writhing their teams. Week on week we are seeing progress with more and more of the players gaining their confidence in tackling. Things are bright for the u9's who are supported by a fantastic group of parents who continually support both the team and the age group. Thank you to everyone- it is appreciate!
