Burton v Longton

Excellent final two thirds from the team to come back from the first third when Burton spent most of the time in their own 22 defending their line.

5 nil down after twenty minutes saw us facing a massive challenge to come back from but come back we did, score finishes 2:2 in the second quarter with the best quarter yet to come, ahead 2:0 but two late Longton tries pulled us back to finish 2:2.

Final score Burton 4 Longton 9.

When we score it's generally the result of magnificent team play, phase after phase from our own half to score in the corners. So many positives at the final whistle with players having nothing left to give and parents (& coaches) beaming with pride.
