U13s win vs Moseley

Burton Forwards put on a very dominate display controlling possession very well throughout the game. If Moseley could have had secured more ball, the result could have been very different.

On the two occasions Moseley had good clean ball, they scored. Once in the first half with excellent back skills resulting in a two man overlap, and in the second half, a darting run from the 22 metre line resulting in a simple try under the posts.

Five of Burton's 7 tries came from lovely fluent back moves and nice lines of running from Seb, Chris, Ed and Sam following good distribution from Dan to Luke and out. The other two tries resulted from strong Forward dominance,will Kern touching down. Equally it could of been any one of the forwards, as both tries were team efforts.

Burton should of scored a number of other tries but for the middle part of the game the team became much less clinical and structured resulting in some rush passes, dropped balls and individuals holding on the the ball fractions of seconds too long.

Moseley stuck to the task very well and played with determination from start to finish. They were very quickly up to attack as the game progressed, which also disrupted the Burton Structure. Overall however, a very solid Burton performance, with some very capable and well executed play. A good foundation ahead of the key cup match against Lichfield next week.
