Burton vs Barker's Butts

Burton U13s welcomed Barkers Butts to the Oxhay, a new fixture this season.

The visitors started strongly, with two converted tries and extensive possession. Sam scored one back for Burton after determined running to close the half trailing 5 - 14.

The second half saw continued pressure by Barkers, rewarded by a third try. Burton then went on the attack but couldn't secure any points before Barkers headed back up field to score again and repeated the success straight from the restart. Burton tackled hard but the visitors rucked hard and efficiently used the width of the field to score again. Burton continued to battle hard on the Barkers try line before the opposition broke away again to take the final score to Burton 5 - 38 Barkers Butts.

Burton look forward to a rematch.
