Burton were determined to hold on to their winning streak today, a task which they easily succeeded.

Burton send out their punisher crew to begin the match. The game is started by a well placed Niall Collett kick which was chased down by the hungry Burton pack who retrieve the ball and begin making headway, shipping the ball to Matt ‘the machine’ Shenton who makes a huge run straight through the middle of Willenhall’s defence and with good hands and a well timed passes, the ball ships to Niall Collett, then to Millar ‘the panzer’ Pride, to Jack ‘the juggernaut’ Johnson, to Will ‘the boot’ Bower who is over the line for a fantastic 1st try of the match which goes unconverted. Willenhall 0 Burton 5

Willenhall restart the game chasing their own kick but a knock on gives the first scrum of the match to Burton...can the formidable forwards break Willenhall? Crouch... Touch... Set... HIT 234 YES 234 is the cry from the Burton pack and then BOOM ! Burton push Willenhall back off the ball, the ball is out... there are arms and legs flailing about like a fight at a sausage factory! Burton are tackling well, taking down the Willenhall players time after time, the Burton pack relentless. Jake ‘the powerhouse’ O’Toole has the ball and he is over the line for Burtons 2nd try of the match which Will ‘the boot’ Bower easily converts. Willenhall 0 Burton 12

Restart Willenhall kick off and Yo-Yo Johannes Bould has the ball and is running up the wing only to be tackled yards from Willenhall’s 22. Scrum to Willenhall but Burton come with the ball, shipping it out wide to Declan Bristow and then to Tom Rutherford who makes an almighty run straight through the middle only to be taken to ground by Willenhall’s defence. Scrum given to Burton for tackler not rolling away... 2nd half
Willenhall kick off but it’s Burton who are in command of the ball. The forwards go into a rolling maul... FIRE... FIRE... FIRE is the cry from the grunting forwards as they drive Willenhall back. The ball is shipped out to Harry ‘the missile’ Roden who is over the line for a lovely try... poor conditions prevent the conversion. The score now Willenhall 0 Burton 22

Willenhall kick off but scrappy play sees a scrum to Burton who again come away with the ball. The ball is being played mostly on Willenhall’s 22 yard line, who are putting up a fight but Zak ‘the attack’ Fellows receives the ball on the wing and at pace he is over the try line running down to the posts before placing the ball between them for a very professional try which was successfully converted. Willenhall 0 Burton 29

From set pieces Burton are owning Willenhall, whatever is being put to the Burton pack it is easily forced back at Willenhall. ‘Man Mountain’ Ben Acton has the ball and is charging with grit and determination toward the try line and with an almighty roar he is over the line for a try which Will ‘the boot’ Bower converts taking the score to Willenhall 0 Burton 36

Are Burton finished you might wonder? Are they tired? Not on your Nelly!!
