Burton Under 12's paid a first visit to Silhillians RUFC on Sunday. Had a really competitive game against a well organised team. Burton played some excellent rugby during the morning, being particulary strong in the counter-ruck. The new players this season continue to blend nicely in to the team, and we are in the makings of a strong squad.
A big thanks to 5 of the team who went to play in a joint Sils/Burton team, due to large numbers. Allowed the children to get as much game time as possible.
Congratulations to Thomas Miller who won this weeks 'Core Values Man of the Match'. Thomas was one in the joint team and played some excellent rugby for a relatively new starter.
